Lust For Life, Lana Del Rey’s 4th studio album debuts at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart. This follows suit to her 2014 album, Ultraviolence.
Lana Del Rey has always personified the retro idea of the “American dream” and connecting it today’s young people, of which I believe makes her so appealing. The Ringer calls it “a waking dream of boomer nostalgia cut with millennial flair.” Lust For Life takes the same picturesque idea of what the “American dream” looks like and paints a shadow over it, because politically, we are just in a different, and darker, place.
The album features appearances by Stevie Nicks, The Weeknd, ASAP Rocky, Sean Lennon, and Playboi Carti.
